Captain and Chef
Peter has followed varied and exciting professions ranging from salvage dining on the African Coast to cattle and game farming in Zimbabwe. For the past 4 years he has been involved with the BVI Charter industry where he has earned the reputation of being a very popular and friendly Charter Captain. He has extensive sailing experience together with 6 Ocean crossings and more than 100,000 sea miles and holds a RYA Yacht Master Ocean Certificate. Your safety will be in good hands. Peter is also a Scuba PADI diving Instructor and takes pleasure in showing his guests the fabulous dive sites that he has found in the Caribbean. He is the perfect charter Captain to take you on your next unique and unforgettable vacation!
Colleen was born in Rhodesia and has traveled and lived throughout Africa, Europe and even Las Vegas! Before marrying Peter, she worked in the travel, airline, hotel, restaurant, tourism and car hire industries. Her motto that "strangers are just friends we have not met" demonstrates her likable and outgoing personality. From an early age, she took a keen interest in cooking and her experience in restaurants and on succesful charter yachts has refined her inventive gourmet talents. She has also trained at the Chez Gourmet School of Cooking and loves to adapt to the personal preferences of her guests which makes her a warm and welcoming host.
Both Peter and Colleen and and Chris and Jo are joined by a stewardess and a deckhand/mate.

After leaving the corporate world and traveling extensively, Chris and Joanne have been chartering prestige yachts as Captain and Chef for 10 years. This adventurous, fun loving couple combines their talent and experience to create an unforgettable sailing vacation for their guests, of all ages. They specialize in finding those secluded anchorages, deserted beaches, azure blue snorkel sites and beautiful sunsets that will make your vacation more then you ever dreamed of.
Chris uses the skills and experience gained throughout his long sailing career to achieve the highest standards in the industry. He holds a Royal Yachting Association Ocean Yacht Master certificate and is also a PADI Dive Master.

A Water sports fan, Chris loves to Sail, Windsurf, Wakeboard, Dive and Fish, and will be glad to help you learn or enhance your skills. His Celestial Navigation lessons are not to be missed!
Joanne is from Kent in England, and has traveled as far as Australia to complete numerous sailing races and events along the East coast, along with voluntary work on several organic farms.
Joanne's abilities as a Chef are influenced by the many cultures she has experienced. She continues to refine her skills and has attended culinary institutes including the world-renowned Rick Stein Seafood School in England and Classic French Chef training in Northern and Southern France.
During your stay Joanne will delight you with her delicious gourmet cuisine from every corner of the globe and your own custom menu. With her good humour and high standard of excellence, she will ensure your time aboard Zingara is the vacation of a lifetime.
