Yacht Description
Tzigane is a very spacious yacht both inside and on deck. Some innovative design touches like her huge sapphire tiled shower room and tall director style chairs at the helm make her a unique and desirable charter yacht.
This Grenadines based Trimaran has 4 queen size guest staterooms each with en suite bathroom. The saloon is very wide and spacious with doors on both the port and starboard to other areas of relaxation.
On board you have much of what you would expect from a villa holiday plants, wall maps, lots of cushions, sea shells and books. There are four covered areas to hang out under and then two trampolines to the bow. Thoroughly equipped for families young and old with TV, DVD, CD, sea kayaks, board games, water-maker and generator this yacht also has a wonderfully friendly happy and experienced European (French/German) crew of 2.
Crew
Steeve and Ingrid St. Covat have a long yachting and charter background. Together they have owned a number of yachts, Tzigane, number I through IX, and ranging up to 140 + feet! They have sailed extensively in the Mediterranean, and throughout the Caribbean.
Capt. Steeve St. Covat was born in Budapest, Hungary where in his youth he studied engineering, finishing his studies in England. As if a life cruising the Greek Islands, the Riviera, and the Caribbean weren't enough, Steve also worked as a Professional Race Car driver until 1969 for Saab! During this time, through a typographical error, he earned an extra "e" in his name, and for some reason it stuck, becoming something of a trademark.
Ingrid St. Covat, a German, met her husband in Paris, while studying languages, and working as a translator. She has been sailing the world with Steeve for 20 years. Her cuisine specialities include French, German, Mediterranean and West Indian Dishes.
Four languages spoken fluently on board: English, French, German and Hungarian
