David Ramage, a qualified shipwright with both Master V and RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Going tickets built Metani in 3 years - to sail the world. Having represented Australia as a rower in the 1960's, which included the Tokyo and Mexico Olympic Games, David's interest moved to sailing. Over the last 30 years he has accumulated some 120,000 miles which has included ocean racing and more sedate sailing in some of the most beautiful places in the world. He now looks upon the Caribbean as his second home, with The Grenadines being his favourite location.
