Villa Description

Windsong has 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms and a patio or veranda, built on two levels. The villa is located in a stunning elevated setting on the private Spring Estate.

The East facing veranda runs the whole length of the house. Uninterrupted ocean views truley are a gift of nature - over the turquoise bay and beautiful rows of waves breaking over the coral reef and to Grenadines islands on the horizon.

INSIDE, LAYOUT

Bedrooms
The Poolside Suite can sleep two in a 6' double bed, or be arranged as two separate 3' singles. The Master Room has a 7' double bed - both have verandas and bedside ocean views. The Garden Room has two 4' 6" double beds and has doors opening onto a private patio overlooking the beautifully kept tropical gardens. Camp beds and cribs are available.

Bathrooms
Three en-suite bathrooms include marble vanities, clear glass shower enclosures and mirrored walls.

Living
The main living area is large with high ceilings so is light and breezy with four double doors that open out onto the verandah.
A seating area with a four seater sofa and two armchairs form the TV area, the kitchen has a large island and opening on to the vernada a glass top dining table seats 8.

Entertainment
The lounge is equipped with WI- FI, cable TV, I pod dock, video, deluxe stereo, VHF radio, CD player and telephone. A fax machine is available in the master bedroom.
A selection of CDs, board games and books are available for you to use during your stay.

OUTSIDE

A swimming pool (for lengths) and gazebo over look simply stunning ocean views. This is reached by elegant wooden staircase through terraced tropical gardens.

A tiled plunge pool on the main veranda, in front of the Poolside suite, enjoys soaring views over turquoise reefs.

Windsong Villa is surrounded by lush tropical gardens of Bougainvillea, Hibiscus and tropical fruit trees.

A stone built barbecue lies alongside the cushioned gazebo in the west gardens.

On the verandah, you will find table and chairs for al fresco dining and cane furniture over looking mesmerizing views. Alternatively, relax in the pool and enjoy a cool Hairoun beer or rum punch.

FOOD AND WINE

The housekeeper Patricia, prepares your first evening meal.

The kitchen has a full range of appliances and will match the expectations of the keenest cook.
Filtered water and ice-making facilities are provided. Chefs and Caterers are available on request. ?Supplies (Food & Drink can be ordered in advance)

GETTING THERE

Map: From Port Elizabeth harbour, drive toward the Spring Plantation on the east coast. Turn left at signs for Spring Estate and drive up the hill onto Upper Pea Patch Road. Windsong is sign posted on your right just after Lime House villa.

Bequia is the second largest island in the Grenadines, 10 km South of St Vincent and 8 km north of Mustique.

Air: Private Jet from Canouan island airport just 5 minutes flight from Bequia’s airport. Fly to Barbados and Bequia airport has daily flights from there. Alternative with chartered plane would be Martinique, St Lucia, or Grenada.

RENTAL INCLUSIVE OF STAFF:

  • General manager  (full time and always on call)
  • House keeper (also general manager) (7 days per week)
  • Gardener (5 hours per day with weekends off)
  • The house keeper cleans the house and will be on-site 6 days per week. She will change linen, clean the kitchen, sweep and tidy up throughout the day.

COOKING:

The house keeper is also willing to cook meals if you desire, but will require extra compensation..  If you require a full time professional chef we can make arrangements for you. Daily cooking prices are between US$ 40 - 80 per day excluding food costs.

Deposits

Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 25% deposit. However, a reservation cannot be confirmed until 8 months or 240 days prior to the date of arrival, at which time the 25% deposit becomes non-refundable. The remaining 75% is required 60 days prior to the date of arrival and is immediately non-refundable. Deposits on a villa rental will not be refunded if a visit is delayed or cancelled because of transportation difficulties. Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance. The minimum period for a reservation is five nights. Over certain holiday periods, a further minimum stay may apply.
