The villa has all the rustic charm of an exotic retreat, but naturally combines this with the exquisite furnishings and appointments expected of a luxury villa Six beautiful air conditioned bedrooms are decorated with Moroccan, Indian and Mexican furniture. The villa has bare charm bare drift wood, subtle natural colourings are set against an azure blue and lush green back drop the richly coloured Caribbean sea and forested hills and the internationally acclaimed 18 par golfing course.
Egyptian cotton linens are provided as are beach towels. There is a live in caretaker on the ground and two maids visiting who will provide a daily maid service during the length of your stay. The maids will prepare breakfast for you daily and for other meals a private chef can be arranged. Children are most welcome, but the owners would kindly ask the parents to ensure they respect the houses and antique furniture.

Beach & Garden
Villa Serene is set on one acre offering peace and solitude in the shade or sun for all its guests. The beaches are accessible by foot or mini moke.
Restaurants
There are 5 excellent restaurants are within 10 minutes drive away.
The Raffles Resort has four distinct bars and restaurants for guests at Villa Serene to enjoy. La Piazzo, a stylish Italian concept, will pa,per its guests with a sleek contemporary design and trendy services. Jambus is an all day pool side venue, La Varenne offers panoramic views overlooking the golf course and the Raffles resort. There is also Godhal beach bar and grill, the Pool Bar set in the middle of the swimming pool on the beach and Belinnis the resorts signature bar.
At the Tamarind Bay Hotel 5 minutes drive away there are two restaurants, Palapa, a delightful open terrace right at the waters edge
surrounded by tropical gardens and “ Pirates Cove” an informal snack bar on the beach.

Canouan Island
The serene and beautiful island of Canouan is one of the smaller grenadine islands, set in the middle of the archipelago; it is just 3 square miles and has a population of only 1350. Named after the Carib word for turtle the island is rich in wildlife and steeped in history reflecting a tumultuous past when it frequently changed hands between the French, the English and the incumbent and warlike Caribs.
The beaches of Canouan are white sand, many are secluded and all are delightfully un-crowded. The waters are perfect for swimming, snorkelling, sailing, diving, and other water sports. Winter temperatures range between 65° and 85°F, summer between 75° and 95°F. Winters are dry, summers are
showery.
The island only became widely accessible in 1998 with the opening of the Airport. Until the resort on Carenage Bay was built the island had only 70 rooms for tourists who got here by boat and lazed on the pristine beaches of the west coast (at Tamarind Beach Hotel an up market Italian run beach front hotel or the low key beach front hideaway, The Canoaun Beach Hotel.) Canouan is still a largely undiscovered jewel in the Grenadine crown though now with the qualities of a major tropical destination. Raffles has bought in its 156 luxurious accommodations around the Carenage Bay shoreline, three beach bars, two restaurants, an 18 hole golf course and golf pro shop, health and fitness centre and beauty parlour. The Grand Casino adds entertainment to the Carenage Bay side when there aren’t live bands at the Tamarind Beach Bar ‘Pirates Cove’ on the west coast.

Your housekeeper work 6 days per week. They are available on Sunday afternoons too.
