There’s lots to do on Bequia. It is a vibrant and social island. In the high season there are daily events by day and night, museums, galleries, boat trips, hikes, turtle sanctuary, old forts...waterfalls on St. Vincent an hour away by ferry.
Mustique to visit 20 minutes by speed boat, schooner days sails to the southern Grenadines islands of the Tobago Cays and Mayreau.
Outside
The house is set on 1/4 acre of fenced, tropical garden, totally enclosed on the cliff top between Admiralty Bay and Princess Margaret Beach. There are only three homes on Princess Margaret beach so the valley is lush with vegetation. A garden gate takes gives you private access to the coastal path.
Here you are within 10 minutes walk also to Lower Bay with in 10 minutes drive another five beaches.
Below the property is the trendy Jack’s beach bar and restaurant which has large shaded days beds on the beach.
A gazebo is perched on a watch tower over looking Port Elizabeth to the north and the two pristine beaches to the south.
Food and wine
Food and Wine can be pre ordered from the mainland St. Vincent and the local markets.
Restaurants on the island are good and varied (Italian, Swedish, French, Caribbean, American)
Getting there:
Map: Bequia is the second largest island in the Grenadines, 10 km South of St Vincent and 8 km north of Mustique
Air: Private Jet to Canouan island just 5 minutes flight from Bequia’s airport. Fly to Barbados and Bequia airport has daily flights from here. Alternative with chartered plane would be Martinique, St Lucia, or Grenada. It is also possible to fly Barbados - St Vincent and then take the ferry.
