The property is located on the east coast of the beautiful island of Bequia, (Pronounced BECKWAY.)
Bequia’s east coast is a quiet international neighborhood. ‘Palm Lodge’ views are south and south west facing from the hillside, above a coconut grove and over looking 'Spring Beach.'
The house has a stone stepping path directly from its western patio down to Spring beach. The walk takes 10 minutes from beach to house for a fit person. Less than 5 minutes drive away are two more beaches (Industry Bay is particularly good for snorkeling,) tennis courts, a turtle sanctuary, pottery studios, and a quiet beach restaurant. The islands Capital (the quaint harbour of Port Elizabeth) and 5 more beaches are less than 10 minutes drive away.
Palm Lodge master bedroom ( double bed) is air conditioned and has a large en suite bathroom, with a bathtub and separate shower. Two further bedrooms (one double one twin) share another large bathroom. All bedrooms have with fitted wardrobes and dressing table. En-suite bathroom & Guest bathrooms are fully tiled, with bath & separate shower.
An open plan modern kitchen comes fully fitted with, Large Fridge Freezer, Double Oven, Ceramic Hob with Extractor Hood and Fan, Microwave and a 'Zanussi' Washing Machine.
The 30 feet wide cool and airy lounge/dining area opens entirely to a fully tiled sun deck, which wraps around the front and sides of the house. You can dine alfresco here all year round. On the east side of the deck is a plunge pool from which you can enjoy a refreshing drink and take in the fabulous view. There is a landscaped garden path for direct access from the bedrooms to the pool. On the west side of the house the barbecue can be lit under moonlight. The house is furnished to a high standard with large sloping terraced garden with palm trees and various shrubs, palms, heliconia, frangipani and the like with spectacular views over reef, ocean and beach.
