Villa Description

The villa is designed in the neo Georgian style and sits on 10 acres. It has an open plan with 5 bedrooms and a drawing room. There are also two lodges all of which has been extensively refurbished and expanded to incorporate a new master bedroom, dining pavilion, media room and an office. All bedrooms are air conditioned and each has its own private deck. They are all separated to allow for quiet and privacy. Each room has been designed to take the best advantage it can from the easterly trade winds. If the breeze is blowing, you may like to try turning off the air conditioner, opening all your windows and doors, cosy under your net curtain and enjoy the clean tropical night skies.

Judy, the cook who first came to Les Jolies Eaux with its original owner, manages the permanent house staff. Arnold, the butler, has been at the house for a decade. Dianetta and Wendy, the maids, will clean your room daily and will take care of the laundry. Ernesto is the gardener and occasional butler. The staff works 7 a.m. (earlier if you request) through the end of the mid-day meal, with a short mid-morning breakfast break. They generally are off duty during the mid-afternoon unless you ask for special assistance. They are back on duty for the early evening cocktail hour until Arnold closes the house after all have retired.

Deposits

Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 20% deposit. However, a reservation cannot be confirmed until 8 months or 240 days prior to the date of arrival, at which time the 20% deposit becomes non-refundable. A further payment of 40% is required and becomes non-refundable 6 months or 180 days prior to the date of arrival. The remaining 40% of the rental is due 3 months or 90 days prior to the date of arrival and is immediately non-refundable. Deposits on a villa rental will not be refunded if a visit is delayed or cancelled because of transportation difficulties. Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance.

The minimum period for a reservation is seven nights. Over certain holiday periods, a further minimum stay may apply.

10% tax and 8% admin fee will be added to bills.
