A sophisticated family villa exuding romance and fun at once.

Coccoloba is located on the crest of 12 lush acres at 220 feet of elevation, providing 280 degrees of view overlooking four bays: L’Ansecoy, Rutland, Lime Kiln and Endeavor. The entrance to the villa, situated at a lower elevation, and 900 feet from the villa, meanders through mature landscaping to assure total privacy. Over 10,000 tropical plants were imported to further protect and enhance your tropical paradise.

Coccoloba has been built in a series of pavilions, giving it a unique style and a real sense of space and privacy. The airy sitting room stands within the main pavilion surrounded by a wrap around terrace overlooking the swimming pool which is long enough to train in and overlooks uninhabited tiny off shore islands.

The master bedroom exudes romance; its private terrace has a private plunge pool. There are three additional bedrooms, one with its own sitting room, which can be used as another bedroom, perfect for a family or as nanny quarters. The villa also contains a vast screening room with lounge seating and movie library. So close to perfection, Coccoloba is a place guests will never want to leave.

After almost five years of construction Coccoloba was completed in November of 2009. Materials such as antique teak from Bali, shell stone from Dominica, and antiques sourced from around the world create a feeling of age and permanence. At the same time, the villa uses the latest in technology, such as Wi-Fi throughout the property, I-Pod docking stations in all sleeping rooms and a property wide audio system, assuring guests that modern day needs will easily be met. And for movie buffs, there is a large video library in the state of the art, purpose built 12 seat private screening theater with Dolby THX surround sound.

Deposits

Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 20% deposit. However, a reservation cannot be confirmed until 8 months or 240 days prior to the date of arrival, at which time the 20% deposit becomes non-refundable. A further payment of 40% is required and becomes non-refundable 6 months or 180 days prior to the date of arrival. The remaining 40% of the rental is due 3 months or 90 days prior to the date of arrival and is immediately non-refundable. Deposits on a villa rental will not be refunded if a visit is delayed or cancelled because of transportation difficulties. Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance.

The minimum period for a reservation is seven nights. Over certain holiday periods, a further minimum stay may apply.
