AMITABAH, the Buddha of infinite light, is said to bring calm, peace and contentment. Essentially a beach house, only steps from Lower Bay on the west coast yet, perched on the gentle hillside of Lower Bay in a private location - this is perhaps the finest villa in Bequia.

The house is designed around expansive out door living spaces, glamorous interiors and spa like bathrooms. Complete with a multitude of family friendly games like snooker and tennis, Amitabah is very much like a private hotel. A 180 degree panoramic west facing balcony gives birds eye views of the west coast. Newly built, the villa is superbly fitted with stunning furniture and high spec technology. The sunset and green flash views are magnificent from all rooms. At Amitabah you can truly relax as your every need will be looked after by the charming and helpful staff.

Ideal for couples and families you will find it hard to leave the quiet, relaxing atmosphere of Amitabah but you if you want to venture further afield the beach is just below and a little farther along the road you will find another idyllic beach named aptly after Princess Margaret.

Activities
Aside from all the sporting and swimming activities at the villa and the beach, if you like hiking there are trails around the island which you can take bonafide forests, waterfalls and nature at its best. Snorkelling and Scuba diving are excellent here and there are several dive sites close to the villa and in all around 12 dive sites around Bequia, 64 in the whole Grenadines chain. Children will enjoy visiting the Turtle sanctuary, kayaking, learning to sail, fishing, seeking out iguanas, playing football, tennis, cricket and volley ball on the beach, drinking from fresh coconuts and having local fish and chips at the beach.

RENTAL INCLUSIVE OF STAFF:

General manager (full time and always on call)
House keeper (7 days per week)
Butler (6 days per week)
Gardener (5 hours per day with weekends off)
The house keeper cleans the house and will be on-site 6 days per week. She will change linen, clean the kitchen, sweep and tidy up throughout the day.

COOKING:

The house keeper will prepare you breakfast and lunch if you desire, this service (excluding food) is included in the rental. If you require a full time professional chef we can make arrangements for you. Daily cooking prices are between US$ 50 for Mahalia to cook for your evening meal and US$ 80 per day for a professionally trained chef, excluding food costs.

Deposits

Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 25% deposit. However, a reservation cannot be confirmed until 8 months or 240 days prior to the date of arrival, at which time the 25% deposit becomes non-refundable. The remaining 75% is required 60 days prior to the date of arrival and is immediately non-refundable. Deposits on a villa rental will not be refunded if a visit is delayed or cancelled because of transportation difficulties. Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance. The minimum period for a reservation is five nights. Over certain holiday periods, a further minimum stay may apply.
