Villa Description

Located on the crest of a hill in Mount Pleasant, Bequia overlooking Admiralty Bay, Lower Bay and Princess Margaret beach, Allamanda is a totally private and quiet three bedroom property. It features a swimming pool with a jacuzzi, large gas barbecue grill, outside bar and sun patio. The house has a large covered veranda comfortably furnished with recliners, loungers, table and chairs. The veranda offers excellent views of the turquoise waters and yachts at anchor in the harbour below. You can see all the way down to the beach at Lower Bay. A spectacular spot to watch the sunset over the ocean. Moonlight views are equally as breathtaking, the light of the moon reflects off the ocean. The jacuzzi is perfect to relax with a cool drink and enjoy the starry night skies.

The entrance way leads through lovely gardens into a spacious lounge. Deep wicker sofa and chairs under high vaulted ceilings open through large French doors onto the veranda. There is cable TV, stereo and a formal dining table & chairs and fully equipped modern kitchen. There are two large bedrooms on the ground level both with king-sized beds. Each has its own private bathroom. Both have glass patio doors opening onto the veranda. One bedroom opens directly on to the pool deck. The bedrooms are either side of the house with the main living area in between to ensure privacy. The third bedroom is situated downstairs. It has its own private entrance. This large room has a king-sized bed and an additional single bed. It has its own bathroom and comfortable seating area with fridge. This room also has separate cable TV and a large closet.
The covered veranda is furnished with table and chairs, recliners and loungers. There is an outside bar overlooking the swimming pool. The views of Bequia from here are magnificent, you are able to see all the way down to Lower Bay beach and look directly down onto the harbour. As with the rest of the house this outside patio area is completely private. The rear is fenced off with trellis and tropical plants to ensure complete privacy.

Beach & Garden
The house is set on 1/4 acre of tropical garden, completely enclosed, private and quiet. Within 1/4 mile radius there is one neighbor. The swimming pool is directly in front of the living room with a Jacuzzi pool on the deck and a fabulous barbecue. There are plenty of loungers and shady spots in the garden to read and relax.
Fantastic swimming beaches are within 5 minutes drive away.

Restaurants
There is a little local restaurant nearby ‘ Gypsies’ with wonderful views. Over 25 more restaurants are within 5 or 10 minutes drive away.

  • The house keeper cleans the house and will be on-site 6 days per week. She will change linen, clean the kitchen, sweep and tidy up throughout the day.

COOKING:

The house keeper will prepare you breakfast and lunch if you desire, this service (excluding food) is included in the rental.  If you require a full time professional chef we can make arrangements for you. 

Deposits

Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 25% deposit. However, a reservation cannot be confirmed until 8 months or 240 days prior to the date of arrival, at which time the 25% deposit becomes non-refundable. The remaining 75% is required 60 days prior to the date of arrival and is immediately non-refundable. Deposits on a villa rental will not be refunded if a visit is delayed or cancelled because of transportation difficulties. Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance. The minimum period for a reservation is five nights. Over certain holiday periods, a further minimum stay may apply.
