Views
The location of Friendship Heights is my personal favourite because of the views you get to the small off
shore islands to Canouan, Mustique, Union, Carriacou and Grenada (on the clear days.) Northern ridge lots also overlook Mount Pleasant to the north east and to Ravine Bay.
Infrastructure
The lands are surveyed, ready for sale with infrastructure included in land price. 100 ft of 24’
concrete road will be built in the first phase of sales. The contractors begun building the roads
mid December 2006. The road is maintained by the government as the landowner becomes taxpayer upon purchase of land. Cable, telephone and electricity are built in underground to each site.
Investment
Friendship Bay lands are considered the most desirable in Bequia for investors who need to see revenue on rented property and rapid growth in land and development prices. This is not only because of the proximity of the good swimming beach and restaurant at the Friendship Bay Hotel but more significantly because of the three major new developments in the area; 1. In 2002 the construction of New Eden luxury beach villa featured in magazines worldwide, 2. In 2006 the purchase and development of Bequia Beach Club on Friendship Beach and no less, 3. The development in 2007 of 6 villas, 30 condos, sports facilities and swimming pools at the Friendship Bay Residence Club.

Views
Crown Point has views over Industry Bay, Pigeon Island and other off shore uninhabited islands. The beaches are not prefect on this side of the island though they are long and lined with coconut trees from the plantation here. However, Industry and Park Bay have excellent snorkelling reefs. Views are east southeast and you can see the stunning off shore islands of close by Pigeon islands and farther off Balliceaux and Battoweya.

Investment
Crown Point lands are considered the most desirable for those who need also like peace and sanctuary and the views and sounds that the Atlantic coast gives Bequia. Breaking waves, deep obvious reefs, plenty of breezes. There are over 100 expats living in the area and the houses here have been renting in Bequia for over 10 years. There are at least four luxury rental properties nearby, (Eastwinds, Windsong, Helianthus, Hummingbird) two historical attractions (a mill, a colonial French mansion) and three beaches within walking distance of the lots. The restaurants at Spring Hotel and on Industry Beach, the Crescent Beach Inn, are well known and popular on the island. There are tennis courts and horses at Spring Bay. Private landowners, owning land bordering these lots are selling, on high density, minimum 1 acre, for US$ 12 per sq ft. So we can see the profitability of buying land from the government at this price now in Bequia.
