Located in the southeast Caribbean about 110 miles west of Barbados.
Seven miles south of Canouan Island (new International Airport) the island of Mayreau is unquestionably the most exciting development prospect in the West Indies. A completely un spoilt paradise at the very heart of the Grenadines.
A tiny cay, 4 sq. km (1 1/2 sq. miles) of land, Mayreau is a privately owned island shared by a hotel and a little hilltop village of about 200 inhabitants. There are two good restaurants on the island, a hotel and a small guest house.
Mayreau forms the western perimeter of the world famous Tobago Cays National Park and Marine Reserve where 5 miles of coral reef encircle four desert islands set in an incredible turquoise lagoon.
